Beacon for the Arts - Summer Series

Airbnb Best of British Fund Winner 2026 logoWe’re proud to share that we’ve been named a 2026 Airbnb Best of British Fund winner!

Thanks to this support, we’ll be able to offer more creative opportunities for communities and visitors to connect, explore, and celebrate the places that make our landscapes special.

A celebration of our artistic landscape

We're delighted to be hosting a Summer series of events as part of the Beacon for the Arts partnership.

During August we'll be highlighting the diverse range of arts and cultural activity taking place across the National Park and beyond. From exhibitions and performances to workshops, talks, heritage and community events, we want to showcase it all.

What's on?

Zillah Bell Summer Exhibition at the Zillah Bell Gallery, Thirsk
11 July - 29 August

Visit the Zillah Bell Gallery in Thirsk to view their Summer Exhibition featuring a wonderful selection of paintings, original prints, ceramics and jewellery.

The exhibition will be constantly changing and if you spot something you love, there's no need to wait until the end, you can take the work away with you there and then.

Due to the fluidity of this show it will subtly change as the exhibition progresses, we highly recommend an in person visit to see the work in situ and the full extent of work that makes up the exhibition.
