X93/X94 Middlesbrough to Scarborough

Paddleboard by lake or sea, take in a coastal horizon, listen to a folk musician against a backdrop of waves — access to our Jurassic coastline and a fantastic range of experiences is now more affordable thanks to the £2 fare scheme.

If you’re heading from Scarborough, take in the rolling moorlands and woodlands on a one-hour trip to the atmospheric town of Whitby.

X4/X4A Middlesbrough to Whitby

Stops include Saltburn, Staithes, Runswick Bay

840 Coastliner Leeds to Whitby

Famously named Britain's Most Scenic Bus Route in a national poll, this iconic route takes you through the heart of the North York Moors.

Head up to the top deck for dramatic scenic views of far-reaching heather moorland as you make your way to the historical coastal town of Whitby, with its famous abbey ruins.

128 — Scarborough to Helmsley

A fantastic way to explore the southern fringes of the National Park with historic market towns and villages. Castle remains, a tranquil walled garden and the start of the Cleveland Way National Trail are just some of the great experiences to be had.

In a one-hour journey you can go from surfing the waves in Scarborough to exploring the tucked-away alleys of Pickering, one of the area’s oldest towns.

31X – York to Kirkbymoorside

Stops include Coxwold, Ampleforth, Helmsley

Moorsbus
